Curly Flat White Pinot 2013(750ml)

APPEARANCE
Blushed pink, with a shimmer of sparkling bronze.

BOUQUET
Delicate aromatics swirl within a red fruited frame. Fresh peeled pink grapefruit & blood orange also lend refreshing fragrance. More savoury characters follow up in closely in support, giving extra depth to the nose.

PALATE
A palate that’s well weighted in terms of both volume, and texture. While being clean and crisp, there is plenty of savoury interest here, which is then followed up by a cleansing acid wave. More than a litte moreish!

CELLARING SUGGESTIONS
Easily enjoyed now over summer or over the next one to two years.

Rose by any other name, though far more sophisticated than the everyday rose, so the new name seems to fit. Three hours on skins has infused a pale blush hue, 3 months on lees has built persistence, while blocking of mlf has emphasised wonderfully vibrant, high altitude acidity. It's pretty, understated and impeccably crafted.
