Each year we strive to deliver a Gris that explores the potential of this variety. Our cool climate instils each release with minerality and natural acid backbone, providing for a wine with true character.

Pale pink blush from 20% whole bunch inclusion.

Exotic aromatics of rose petals and stem ginger lead to primary fruits of bosc pear and quince. Savoury interest is there also with hints of cinnamon, allspice, and fresh pastry notes.

Vibrant yet deliciously viscous palate is rich with varietal pear accompanied by rosehips and spice. With a textural mesh of fine tannin that balances with good mid-palate weight and refreshing focus form a Pinot Gris that’s both different and delicious.

Immediate enjoyment is guaranteed as is an easy five years in the cellar.

  • Alcohol: 13.0%
  • Fruit Handling: 100% Pinot Gris.  80% whole bunch pressed, 20% whole bunch (3 weeks skin contact)
  • Maturation: Seven months on lees in old French oak puncheons
