Curly Flat Pinot Noir represents our passion as winegrowers to faithfully capture the essence of our remarkable site coupled with the unique expression that is derived from each vintage.
Due to popular demand, we have now sold out of 2011 Curly Flat Pinot Noir.
Bouquet
A generous array of complex aromatics. Fresh, fragrant notes of raspberry, cranberry and cherry are the main frame, while supporting savoury elements of charred meat, leather and dried lavender give further depth and dimension.
Palate
A delicate fruit wave supported by a subtle raft of tannin floating on a current of lively acidity. The palate journey starts as a single point that gently, but assuredly, expands and evolves into a flourishing finish.
Cellaring
While drinking well now, the optimum drinking window remains some years away. We expect further complexity to emerge with bottle age over the 3-5 years, plus continued development over 10 years, possibly more.
How is this drinking now?
Autumnal undergrowth with vestiges of red berry fruits along with dried flower fragrance. Ethereal palate from a cooler year, but lithe and complex. Drink 2020-2022.
