Curly Flat Pinot Noir represents our passion as winegrowers to faithfully capture the essence of our remarkable site coupled with the unique expression that is derived from each vintage.
Bouquet
Vibrant nose of red fruits, swirls of violets and dried flowers and herbs. Savoury elements of leather, undergrowth and spice gather to form a nose that is perfumed and elegant, yet powerful and deep.
Palate
Immediately plush, structured and mouthfilling. The fragrant nose flows on to the palate, gracefully occupying the upper registers, while fleshy red fruits and French oak spice give great contrast to the juicy acid.
Cellaring
The exceptional fruit allowed a hands off approach in the winery, ensuring the season is reflected in the finished wine. While very approachable now, it has the structure, complexity and length to go for 10+ years.
How is this drinking now?
Expressive perfume consisting of both primary and secondary notes, slightly favouring the latter. Poised palate of good structure, good expression and length. Drink 2020-2026.
